Our outfitter (Living Adventure) is rated No. 1 in the Apostle Island by Sea Kayaker Magazine.
On Thursday, Aug 2, we'll carpool from Milwaukee to Bayfield, WI. On Friday, we head to LA for water safety training Sunday, after the water safety training, we'll head out to the Apostle Islands. Over the 3 days, we'll paddle under towering cliffs, through caves and arches, past historic lighthouses, skim over a 19th century shipwreck to beautiful sand beaches. We have semi-primitive camping for (2) nights in the Islands with beautiful beaches, picturesque sunsets, and gourmet meals.
Level: Beginner-Intermediate - no previous sea kayak trip experience required. Water Safety Training before the trip.
Costs: $440 (kayak, gear, food & guide); $400 (food & guide only - have own 16' ) Hotel room, Thur night not included (est $95 pp). Send $50 to reserve your spot on the trip. Balance due June 30th.
