The picture above shows several Sitzmarks who had fun at this outdoor event last year and they want to do it again this year. The Kiwanis Club is continuing the tradition of pitting local paddlers against the frigid waters of the Pewaukee River. The event is as much a community event and rite of Spring as it is a fundraiser that benefits the Pewaukee Food Pantry. Spotters will be present at the trickiest locations to assist if you tip over but will not actively prevent capsizing.
Race Starting Location - Koepp Park, Pewaukee
Race Ending Location - Frame Park Rotary Building South End, Waukesha
Cost: $32 Limit 2 boats per registration. Pre-Registration entry fee $32 per boat.
