MARQUETTE MOUNTAIN Bus Trip
January 28 - 31, 2027
The Racine Snomads and Sitzmark of Milwaukee are reviving a Midwestern skiing classic…
A weekend bus trip to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula! It’s been few years since either club has run a trip like this, and so we are bringing it back by popular demand. We chose these dates so that we can be at Marquette Mountain for their annual Winter Carnival!
We’ll have Racine and Milwaukee bus stops, embarking on Thursday, skiing on Friday and Saturday, and riding home on Sunday. This looks to be a new ski club classic!! Whether you’re carving down groomed runs, navigating their 9 backcountry glades, or taking your first turns in the beginner area, Marquette’s diverse terrain offers something for every skill level.
Located just minutes from downtown Marquette, the mountain provides
acres of skiable terrain with breathtaking views of Lake Superior.
